Police have already arrested the suspect, Che Yu Tsai, also known as Jayson Santos Lee, 25, tenant at Unit No. 1154 of Tower D, Shell Residences, EDSA Extension, Pasay City.

A police report showed that Noli Manlolo, officer-in-charge of security of the said condominium, was conducting a routine inspection on the 11th floor of the building when he noticed the door of Unit 1154 slightly open.

Manilo repeatedly knocked on the door but nothing happened. He decided to peep an opening at the door and saw blood stains on the floor.

Blood was also splattered on the wall.

A CCTV footage showed that Jayson and the victim left the condo unit at 10:58 p.m. Friday and returned at 11:40 p.m.

Police said that the footage also showed that at 12:54 a.m. Saturday, the suspect was seen leaving the unit loading his personal boxes and a brown travelling luggage in a cart.

Police added that Lee had a hard time taking out the luggage which appeared very heavy.

Police said the body of the victim was discovered by a young male scavenger who saw the suspect dumping the luggage in CAVITEX.

Investigation showed that the suspect was fed up with Del Rosario who was allegedly always asking for money.

Del Rosario was mauled and stabbed in the neck.

The couple had been living in the condominium unit since May 7, 2016. The contract for lease was set to expire on June 6.

Che Yu Tsai faces a murder charge over the death.
